A natural scientist in the field of agricultural papermaking in the UK, who studies the papermaking process in the agricultural sector, Known as the 21st century's Cai Lun, has achieved for the first time the production of pulp by using agricultural biotechnology and environmental protection processes to produce pulp. The use of reed stalks, cotton, and agricultural waste for pulp production has greatly reduced tree felling. Shahriar Nafici collaborated with Jietong Water Treatment Company to research and tackle papermaking wastewater projects, The project has completed a pilot test in China and a pilot test in the UK. Both parties are working together to promote the industrialization process of the project.
